This lab-based form is an accelerated version of the Biology I curriculum that will provide students with inquiry labs and internet-based learning of biological concepts. Data collected by students during labs will be analyzed and provide students an opportunity to be introduced to and acquire molecular and cellular biology concepts.
Students may design some experiments and volition besides be introduced to some AP level lab procedures. Dual College Credit Course USI - Chemical science (HS 107 and/or Chem 261)
HS 107 - for not-science majors (this will have a semester terminal in May)
Chem 261 - for science majors; the final examination will exist in March (ACS Final)

This course may exist taken either equally Advanced Chemistry or AP Chemistry and is aligned every bit a dual credit course through the University of Southern Indiana (Chem 107 or Chem 261). Honors Physics is a deeper and somewhat accelerated physics for students with very strong math skills. Students in this class will obtain a deeper understanding of same concepts covered in Physics.
In addition to those topics, the grade includes an introduction to mod physics (relativity, nuclear physics). Students will explore these phenomena in the lab and in literature, and delve into the social and political implications of physical principles. This course is designed for students looking at programs in allied health, nursing, and scientific discipline majors. It gives a broad introduction to many areas of chemistry that impacts our society.

Students interested in studying Nursing (RN), Concrete (PT)and Occupational (OT) Therapy, Medicine (Doc), Md'southward Asst (PA) and any other Health Career are strongly encouraged to take this course. During Semester I, students will written report tissues, embryology and many of the animal systems while maintaining potent accent on human being anatomy and physiology. Students will be evaluated by their performance during lab practicals, individual/group activities and chapter tests. No dissections will be performed during Semester I.
Students who wish to take the dual credit course (HS 105) through USI will need to have 5276 during fall semester and 3092 during the spring semester.
5276 Advanced SCIENCE, COMPARATIVE ANATOMY

Students interested in studying Nursing, Physical and Occupational Therapy, Medicine (include Doc's Asst) and any other health care profession are strongly encouraged to take this grade. This form is designed to let students who have a dandy interest in professional wellness care fields an opportunity to review systems learned during Semester I, go into more than depth in several of them and get familiar with boosted animal systems not covered during Anatomy and Physiology.
